Healthy Aging Fair Set for September 18th in Vandalia
CEFS’s Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) of Fayette County invites the
community to a Healthy Aging Fair on Thursday, September 18, 2025, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30
p.m. at the Fayette County Senior Citizen Center.
This free, public event brings together 18 local organizations offering resources, health
information, and services tailored to older adults. Guests can connect with experts from
healthcare, wellness, and aging support agencies—plus enjoy giveaways, flu shots, and
access to a mobile dairy pantry hosted by the Fayette County Farm Bureau.
A congregate lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m., accompanied by remarks from Lisa Light,
Long-Term Care Ombudsman with the Illinois Department on Aging.
Meal reservations are required, and seating is limited. Lunch is available for $4.75 for those 60 and older, and $12.75 for those under 60. To reserve a spot for the congregate meal, call

About Center for Senior Renewal
The Center for Senior Renewal is located inside Sarah Bush Lincoln Fayette County Hospital in Vandalia, IL. We are a geriatric outpatient program that provides group and individual
therapy, along with medication management to Medicare recipients. Patients will get a
complimentary evaluation to assess their needs and then be set up with our psychiatrist, Dr.
Scott Arbaugh, to be evaluated and admitted to our program. Our goal is to give seniors the
tools and support they need to successfully face life struggles both now and in the future.
CTS Creative Vision
CTS Creative Vision provides services to older blind individuals age 55 and above who need:
low-vision and other communication aids, orientation and mobility training, services to help
correct blindness, training in activities of daily living, and any other appropriate services to
assist them to live independently.
