CEFS Recognizes National Volunteer Week April 20-26, 2025

CEFS Economic Opportunity Corporation are recognizing CEFS volunteers that have contributed to CEFS’ mission of providing opportunities in our communities through education and support to achieve and maintain stability. In 2024, CEFS served over 19,000 individuals with the help of over 2,300 volunteers that provided over 165,000 hours of service. Because of our volunteers, what seemed to be impossible became possible.

CEFS is a not-for-profit Community Action Agency that serves the counties of Christian, Clay, Effingham, Fayette, Shelby, Montgomery, and Moultrie. CEFS needs volunteers for its Retired Senior Volunteer Program, Meals on Wheels Program, Adult Literacy Program, Food Pantries, and Head Start Program.

National Volunteer Week is a great opportunity to shine a light on the many ways people can serve and strengthen their communities. To learn more about available volunteer opportunities or how you can get involved, please visit our website at https://www.cefseoc.org/volunteer
