Professor Who Brought Plasma Screens To The World Passes

You may not know, but everytime you turn on your TV, Donald Bitzer is to thank. The former NC State professor passed away on December 10, 2024 at age 90.
Donald Bitzer was to co-inventor of the plasma screen in the 1960’s. Over his lifetime, he had numerous honors come his way. Bitzer was awarded an Emmy Award in 2002 for his life changing screen he worked on.
