Janet Marie Friesner, 85, of Crosby, Minnesota, formerly of Vandalia, passed away Friday, September 13, 2024, at her home in Crosby, MN.
Services was held on Friday, September 20, 2024, at Bethel Baptist Church, Vandalia, with Dr. Ben Foxworth and Rev. Donny Price officiating. Burial followed at Prairie Cemetery, Rural Ramsey. She was born December 7, 1938, in Bingham, IL, the daughter of Lawrence S. and Evalyn L. (Sanders) Hoffman. She married William “Bill” Friesner on October 14, 1955. She worked as a trust accountant and was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.
She is survived by: Husband – Bill Friesner, Crosby, MN; Son – Darryl Lee Friesner andhis partner, Kathy Schneider, Fifty Lakes, MN; Grandchildren – Joshua Friesner and Shawna, Jonathan Friesner and Kate, Wesley Friesner and Judith, Nathan Friesner and Melissa, and Abbie Golab and Steven; Great Grandchildren – Preston, Carter, Autumn, Reggie, Summer, Mariya, Micah, Natalie, Tucker, Thea, Nora, Graham, and Asher; Sisters – Carolyn McLaughlin, Judy Hunt and Fred, and Denise Dexheimer.
