First downtown Vandalia Car Cruise a big success

The inaugural Vandalia Car Cruise was an overwhelming success, with 169 vehicles registering for the event.
Vehicles were lined on both sides of the 300 and 400 blocks of Gallatin Street, as well as the 200 block of South Fourth Street.
The cruise winners were:
Ford – 1-Ron Scattergood, 2-Tom Brough, 3-Doug Frailey, 4-Brian Lewis, 5-Ricky Lockhart.
GM – 1-Pam Scattergood, 2-Mark Durbin, 3-Logan Frailey, 4-Ed McCarty, 5-Gratton Towler.
Mopar – 1-Savic Enn, 2-Michael Wilson, 3-Mike Wemple, 4-Dale Coleman, 5-Tom Jackson.
Rat rod – 1-Nick Tompkins, 2-Bill York, 3-Logan Frailey, 4-Thomas Wolf, 5-Brent Keyes.
Motorcycle – 1-Brian Kinney, 2-Jim Pryor, 3-Brian Arenas, 4-Bill Foster, 5-Logan Frailey.
Other – 1-Ed Sh
ouse, 2-John Hall, 3-Oscar Holding, 4-Josh McCarty, 5-Tony Clarey.
The cruise organizers were Artie Langston, Steve Barker, Logan Frailey, Pat Click, Billie Enlow and John Willms.
