-Monthly Prayer Vigil for Life at St Mary of the Annunciation in Shumway on Monday August 19.
Praying the rosary will begin at 6:00 pm. Fr. Adam Prichard will be the celebrant for the 6:30 pm Mass.
-The Fayette County Democrats will meet Monday, August 19, 7:00 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church, 1221 W. Fillmore St., Vandalia.
-96th Annual Kleinik Family Reunion will be held Sunday, August 25th, at the Patriots Park Main Pavilion. Potluck lunch at noon. Those attending are asked to bring a covered dish or dessert, folding chair and their own table service.
