Local Brownstown Girl Helps Wigs For Kids

Rylin Pruett age 10 of Brownstown has been busy growing her hair for Wigs for Kids
In 2022 she donated 18 inches of her hair and in 2024 she has donated 15 inches
She told her mom in 2022 that she wanted to get a haircut and wanted to donate her hair. I (mother) asked her why she wanted to donate her hair, and she said she wanted to help kids who were going through cancer or any other illness that couldn’t grow hair.
As a parent to hear your kid wanting to help others is an incredible feeling.
She thought of donating her hair all on her own.
She said that she wants to continue donating her hair as often as she can and hopefully will find other ways to help children who are battling cancer or illnesses.
