Joyce’s Cafe Under New Ownership

Brooke (Wasmuth) White of Vandalia will be re-opening Joyce’s Cafe soon with the help of Glenda Bolyard an

d Stephanie Myers.
Brooke grew up coming to Joyce’s with her parents Eddie and Traci Wasmuth. Brooke has worked in the food industry on and off since high school and always dreamed of opening her own restaurant. More recently, she was the dining room manager at Canton Inn in Hillsboro, IL.
Glenda Bolyard is a familiar face to the restaurant. Glenda worked for Joyce when she still owned it and plans on bringing back the home cooked meals you all loved, from made from scratch biscuits to home made daily lunch specials.
Stephanie Myers from Vandalia will be along side Brooke waitressing and assisting with management. She has worked at many restaurants over her lifetime and if you’ve had her as your waitress you know her value!
They are currently waiting on state paperwork and inspections but they have worked hard the last few weeks cleaning, painting and bringing in some new equipment to bring back the great environment and good homemade food Joyce served for 30+ years.
