South Central wins 2 regionals

South Central captured two regional titles this past week.

Lady Cougars’ coach Alex Phillips wasn’t surprised by Webster’s performance, and acknowledged that the win was another team effort.
“That’s what we expect her (Webster) to come out here and do every time,” Phillips said. “We know what we have.
“We know that we just have to come out and put up some runs, and we did that today,” he said.
It was “absolutely” a team effort, Phillips said, adding that he expects the success to continue into future seasons.
“Taegan is our only senior, so we’re ready to keep going,” he said.
