Linda Lou Wilburn, 63, Ramsey

Linda Lou Wilburn, 63, of Ramsey, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by family on Sunday, Feb. 18, 2024.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at Casey Cemetery in rural Ramsey, with Pastor David Russell officiating. Friends and family may gather at the cemetery at 10:30 a.m. Memorials: Fayette County Cancer Fund. Miller Funeral Home in Ramsey was in charge of arrangements. She was born on Aug. 8, 1960, in Pana, the daughter of Henry Cole and Geraldine Lee Horner. She married Stanley Arden Wilburn on Aug. 9, 2001, at the Covered Bridge in Cowden. She lived her life to the fullest. She was an avid gardener who enjoyed canning, tending to her farm animals and being outside. When she wasn’t outdoors, she was studying the Bible or spending time with her grandkids. She attended church at First United Pentecostal Church of Nokomis.

She is survived by: her husban, Stanley; son, Jesse (Mandi) Rosenberger of Vandalia; daughters,  Sarah Bland of Pana, and Alisha (David) Russell, and Courtney (Heath) Koski, both of Ramsey; grandchildren, Cody, Jase, Justice, Hayley, Camden, Taya, Isaiah, Savannah, Kole, Madyson, Sederick, Isaac, Jacob and Oliver; great-grandchildren, Aliviah, Ezra, Elianna, Zion, Rylen and one on-the-way; sisters, Kathy (Danny) Sims of DuQuoin, Sheila (Jim) Stewart of Murphysboro, Ruth Cole of Ramsey, and Angie (Rick) Rhodes of Vandalia; and brother, Michael (Missy) Cole of Ramsey, IL.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Sherrie Hocq.
