South Central wins opener; Vandals, BSE open with losses

South Central opened the spring baseball season with a win, and Vandalia and Brownstown/St. Elmo fell in their openers.
South Central pounded out nine hits and took advantage of three Sullivan errors in its 15-5 win.
The Vandals were unable to overcome an early deficit in their 8-4 loss to Father McGivney.
Brownstown/St. Elmo was held hitless and limited to just one baserunner, on an error, in its 8-0 loss to Shelbyville.
