Three added to St. Elmo HS Wall of Fame

Landon Feezel, Abigail Fryer, and Molly Hill make up the 2023 induction class of the St. Elmo Athletic Wall of Fame.

St. Elmo High School honored three of their former athletes last week by inducting them into the Athletic Wall of Fame. The 2023 inductees were Abigail Fryer (Hill), Molly Hill, and Landon Feezel. The trio was honored between the JV and varsity boys basketball games on Friday, February 10 against Altamont.

Abigail Fryer (Hill) was inducted for her accomplishments in track and field. Her track and field career at St. Elmo High School stretched from 2008-2011. During that time, she was the National Trail Conference Shot Put Champion her freshman year and was also the NTC Discus Champion for three years. She twice was a discus champion at the sectional level and qualified for the state meet three times.

Molly Hill was also inducted for her amazing accomplishments in track and field. Her career at St. Elmo was from 2011-2014. Three times she was named the discus champion of the National Trail Conference as well as three times at the sectional level. Hill qualified for state in discus all four years of high school and finished seventh in state during her sophomore season.

Landon Feezel, who attended St. Elmo High School from 2013-2017, was inducted for his accomplishments on the basketball court. Feezel holds the school record for the most rebounds with 964. He also is second all-time in scoring with 1,647 career points. He earned 1st team all-conference honors in both the National Trail Conference and Egyptian Illini Conference three times each. He was named to the all-tournament team three times for the NTC Tournament and he won MVP of the St. Elmo Holiday Tournament twice. He was named to the Herald and Review All-area 2nd team during his senior year. Feezel was also named ABV All South 1st team and all-state special mention. Additionally he was named to the NTC All-Star game during his senior season.
