Bree R. Magneson, 40, of Vernon, Illinois, passed away at 7:34 a.m. Sunday, November 13, 2022, at her home.
Memorial Service and Celebration of Life will be Saturday, November 26, at 1 p.m. Visitation is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. prior to the service at Crown Point Church on Carlyle Road, Vandalia, Illinois. Pastor Pete Leduc will be officiating.
Burial will be held at a later date at Fairlawn Cemetery, Vandalia. Memorials may be sent to Crown Point Church for burial expenses.
Bree R. Magneson was born on November 30, 1981, in San Diego, CA. She moved to Vernon, IL, 12 years ago, where she made a permanent home after falling in love with the rural farming, family-oriented community of Fayette and Marion County.
Bree graduated from Greenville University. After college she found her dream job working as the junior high resource teacher at Patoka Community School. She loved kids and teaching and all of her school family.
Bree raised American poodles and currently had two black poodles as her constant companions and canine friends, Jett and Tuxx.
She is survived by her significant other Christopher Beck of Vandalia and family, Aunt Kristen Magneson of San Diego, CA, Uncle Ron of California, best friend Mary Wessley of Indiana, adoptive family Tammy (Beck) Finley and family of Vandalia, and her two American poodle fur babies, Jett and Tuxx.
She was preceded in death by her parents, beloved stepdad Roland; husband and granddad.
Your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure.
You are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.
