Linda Kay Rickman, 74, of Vandalia, IL, passed away Sunday, September 18, 2022 at her home.
Per Linda’s wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. A Graveside Service and Interment will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at McInturff Cemetery, rural Vandalia with Rev. Linda Kay Holman was born on November 03, 1947 in Vandalia, IL, the daughter of Roy Franklin and Ethel Mae (Beck) Holman. She married Tiffney Lee Rickman on June 20, 1968; together they celebrated 43 years of marriage before his passing on December 09, 2011.
Mrs. Rickman was a dietary aide; working several places throughout the years. She was a member of Crown Point Church, former member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles Auxiliary #3901, and former member of the Vandalia Lion’s Club.
Linda is survived by her sisters, Bessie Hagy of Vandalia, Carol and husband Tom Metzger of Carlyle, Patty and husband Jim Koonce of Decatur; brother, Mike Holman of Vandalia; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers, Franklin Holman and James “Billy” Holman; sisters, Helen Nevinger, Mary Tompkins, Lila Bone, and Norma Willis.
