Betty F. Manley, 86, of Ramsey, passed away on Monday, March 7, 2022, at Hillsboro Area Hospital, Hillsboro.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday at McInturff Cemetery in rural Vandalia, with the Rev. Robert Weaver officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:30-10:30 a.m. on Monday at Miller Funeral Home in Vandalia. Memorials: Unity Baptist Church and/or Fayette County Humane Society. Betty was born on Feb. 28, 1936, in Shelby County, the daughter of Wilber Jackson and Frances Faye (Burchfiel) Barnett. She married Donald Lee Manley on June 4, 1955 in Vandalia; he passed away on Feb.17, 2022.
Betty was a former teller at First National Bank in Vandalia, worked at Fayette County Farm Bureau, and was a homemaker. She was a member of Unity Baptist Church and Fayette County Farm Bureau, both of Vandalia.
She is survived by a son – Gary Manley and Christy, Vandalia; daughter, Nancy Manley Stephens, Nokomis; grandchildren, Michele Orsborn and Jeremy, Arika Craig and Aaron Manley; and great-grandchildren, Landon and Jaxon Orsborn.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sister, Eva Alcorn; and an infant brother.
