Jeffery “Jeff” A. Hamberg, 39, of Springfield, passed away Saturday, Dec. 18, 2021, at his home in Springfield.

He was born June 26, 1982, in Shenandoah, IA, the son of Ray Mutchler and Diana (Benton) Hamberg. He married Patricia A. Wright on April 24, 2021, in Litchfield. He worked as an electrician and tattoo artist. Jeff loved to fish and spend time with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Patty Wright-Hamberg, Springfield; a son, Clayton Hamberg, Marion; a brother Eddie Hamberg, Springfield; sister, Kim Hainline, Havana; step-sons, Jared and Derrick Herker, Vandalia; and a grandchild, Avery.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
