Winnie Mae Grubaugh, 84, of Melvindale, Mich., and formerly of Vandalia, died on Feb. 20, 2012.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at Hohlt & File Funeral Home in Vandalia. Burial will follow in Griffith Cemetery in rural Brownstown. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert Allen; loving mother of Robert Allen Jr. (Donna) Grubaugh, Dianna Lynn (Tom) Harrison, Fredrick Lewis Grubaugh, Thomas Wesley (Tonya) Grubaugh and the late John Grubaugh; and dearest grandmother of 10 grandchildren, 1 predeceased. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Winnie was a thoughtful caregiver, always taking care of everyone else. She was always attending Sunday services at her Lutheran Church. She will be deeply missed by many family and friends.
