✔ The Fayette County Retired Teachers Association will hold its final meeting for this school year at 10:30 a.m. at Ponderosa Steakhouse in Vandalia. The fall meetings will begin on Aug. 22.
✔ TOPS IL 1872, Ramsey, will meet at the Christian Church in Ramsey. Weigh-in is at 6:20 p.m., and the meeting is at 7 p.m.

✔ National Bank, located at 520 W. Gochenour St. in Vandalia, is holding a cookout and bake sale to benefit Fayette County Relay for Life from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Sack lunches are $6 and include a choice of porkburger or hot dog, chips and soda. An extra sandwich may be added for $1.

✔ Patoka's Village-wide Rummage Sales will be held, beginning at 2 a.m. Residents can include their sale on a map for a $2 fee, to be paid at Patoka Village Hall. For more information, call 780-0862.
✔ Cleanup day will be held at Pilcher Cemetery, beginning at 9 a.m. The rain date is Saturday, May 4.
✔ Vandalia Community High School will hold its prom from 7-11 p.m., with coronation set for 8 p.m.
✔ Brownstown High School will hold its prom from 8-11 p.m., with coronation set for 8 p.m.

✔ An American Red Cross blood drive will be held from 12:30-5:30 p.m. at South Central High School in Farina.
Tuesday, April 30

✔ The Network Masters chapter of Business Networking International, which includes Vandalia, meets every Tuesday morning in the conference room at 3 Point Ink, 1550 U.S. Route 40 in Greenville. Open marketing begins at 7:45 a.m., and the meeting runs from 8-9:30 a.m. For more information, contact chapter President Greg Tomlinson at 292-2267.
✔ The Vandalia Rotary Club will meet at noon at Ponderosa Steakhouse.
✔ TOPS IL 2020 will meet in the Fayette County Hospital conference room. Weigh-in is from 5-5:30 p.m., with the meeting to follow.

✔ The Vandalia Lions Club is sponsoring performances by the Kelly Miller Circus at 4:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. in the Chuckwagon Cafe truck parking lot on Janett Avenue in Vandalia. Advance tickets, $10 for adults and $6 for children, are available from Lions Club members and at County Market and First National Bank, and at Walmart from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. on Saturday and from 1-5 p.m. on Sunday. Tickets are the door are $15 for adults and $7 for children.
✔ The Vandalia Band Boosters will hold a quarter auction at the Vandalia Moose Lodge, with doors opening at 5:30 p.m. The event includes a silent auction, 50/50 drawing and grand raffle drawing for money to be spent with vendors at the event.
