    • Antonio L. Boaz, 38, 1331 N. 1331 N. 1300 St., Vandalia, was arrested on May 1 for an alleged probation violation. Bond was $2,500.
    • Scott A. Crain, 49, 1559 E. 1125 Ave., Vandalia, was arrested on May 1 for failure to appear in court and on a charge of driving while his license is suspended or revoked. Bond was $4,000.
    • Reginald B. Williams, 57, Chicago, was arrested on April 30 on charges of driving while his license is suspended or revoked and speeding in a construction zone. Bond was $1,500.

  • Chamber scholarships deadline is Friday

    The Greater Fayette County Chamber of Commerce has extended its deadline for high school senior and adult education scholarships until this Friday.
    Application forms and required data are to be submitted to the chamber office, 210 S. Fifth St., Second Floor, Vandalia, Ill., 62471, by this Friday.

    • Must be a member (in good standing) of the Greater Fayette County Chamber of Commerce, or an employee or spouse/child of a member or employee.
