We had a good meeting Monday, with FAYCO and Vandalia Rehabilitation attending. We missed our Fayette County Hospital Long Term Care friends.
And on a more serious note, we REALLY missed Judy and Bob Varga, and Katy (in hospital) and Randy Schukar, plus we missed Jeannie Schlicht, who is with Wolf in the hospital in Springfield. As we shared our refreshments, we tried to catch up with  everyone’s happenings. Phyllis Rames put it this way  – trying to get everything back to normal! Lord, we are trying!

  • Our churches need some 'Tango Mike Mikes'

Monday was Memorial Day – a day off work for many and  no school for the kids. Even the YMCA was closed, so we all had an excuse to be lazy. And now that Memorial Day is over, our thoughts shift to the approaching summer.

But we are still in the month of the Emerald – the rich green birthstone that depicts the landscape of colorful flowers and trees. This time of year also brings special occasions, which includes: graduation, weddings and community activities.

  • Pray for a miracle – that God would bring revival

I still believe in miracles. It may not be popular in our day and it is certainly not expected in our churches, but nothing is impossible with God.
Miracles are supernatural occurrences. They are either divine intervention, interrupting of natural laws, or they are laws known only to God.

  • Love your job? If not, it can be more meaningful if you work for God

What comes to your mind when you think of work? For some of you, work brings very positive thoughts, feelings and emotions. But for some people, it’s just the opposite.
