Wasser-60 years

Mr. and Mrs. Jim Wasser of Vandalia celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Friday, Oct. 19.

The Wassers celebrated with a country and western dance hosted by their children from 7-10 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 20, at the American Legion Home in Vandalia.
The Wassers are the parents of four children: Terri and her husband Randy Braun of Vandalia, Steve Wasser and his wife Roycie of Mauldin, S.C., Cindy and her husband David Holaday of West Fargo, N.D., and Laura and her husband Mark Bednasz of Hoffman Estates.
They have seven grandchildren: Lindsay Braun of Vandalia; Adam Braun and his wife Molly of Vandalia; Ashley and her husband Chad Towler of Vandalia; Stacy Edmonds and her husband Perry of Greenville, S.C.; Nick Wasser and his wife Cassandra, serving with the Army in Korea; Scott Wasser of Mauldin, S.C.; Stephanie and her husband Joshua Bosch of Bismarck, N.D.; Kristopher Holaday of Grand Forks, N.D.; Jessica Holaday of West Fargo, N.D., and Parker and Finley Bednasz, both of Hoffman Estates.

They have seven great-grandchildren.
