The Vandalia tennis team lost a tough match to Hillsboro on Monday, falling to the conference rival for the second time this season.

After Saturday’s Centralia Invitational and Tuesday's match against Centralia were rained out, the Lady Vandals have a 4-4 record.

Just like in the first match with Hillsboro, a 6-3 loss on Sept. 10, many matches were close but went Hillsboro's way.

Four singles matches went three sets and two doubles matches were decided by two or fewer points.
