Vandalia Registration

Vandalia Community Unit School District #203 will hold district registration at the Vandalia Junior High School on Tuesday, Aug. 5, from 10 a.m.-6 p.m., and Wednesday, Aug. 6, from 8 a.m.-3 p.m.
Parents who have access to the Internet can go to the school website, www.vcs.fayette.k12.il.us, where they will find a link to TeacherEase, along with Vandalia Jefferson Primary and Vandalia Elementary School registration information. Parents are reminded that all miscellaneous paperwork will need to be turned in at registration, along with their child’s registration fees.
New This Year
New to the district this year is online registration for junior high and high school student only.
Parents must have an active email account with the school to register their child.
A letter was sent during the 2013-14 school year to parents’ email from Teacher Ease, with a parental response required, that allowed parents to have access to their child’s grades, attendance, homework, etc.
To register, go online to www.teacherease.com. TeacherEase will work on many different browsers, including Mozilla Firefox, Safari, Internet Explorer and American Online. Parents will need to log in and enter their email address and password to begin the process.
Vandalia Jefferson Primary and Vandalia Elementary School will be handling registration the same as in the past.
All registration information will be on the district website, along with interactive PDF forms for parents to enter their child’s information. Parents are to print out those forms and take them to registration.
Vandalia Wellness Clinic will have Dr. Patel and his nurse at registration to administer regular physicals. The cost of the physical will be $25, with cash only being accepted.
Parents are asked to take note of their child’s grade level requirements.
If they are in need of a physical and are playing sports, this regular physical will also be accepted for the sports physical. However, a sports physical will not be accepted as a grade-level-required regular physical.
Immunizations
The Fayette County Health Department is offering immunization during the summer on Mondays and Tuesdays, by appointment only, and will be open on Tuesday, Aug. 5, and Wednesday, Aug. 6, to accommodate school registration.
Call 283-1044 to schedule an appointment if your child needs the grade-level-required immunizations.
