She wore an ivory, floor-length gown with spaghetti straps, a heart-shaped front with cascading pearls and sequins, and a design of flowers cascading with beads and pearls throughout the gown, with a 4-foot train. She wore a long veil, which featured beading along the edges, and a tiara.

Dinner, prepared by Debbie Smith of Mulberry Grove, was served after the ceremony at the church.
A reception was then held at the Vandalia Moose Lodge, which was decorated with topaz runners with large bouquets of cream-colored roses and candles.
A long-time friend of the bride, Cathy Meyer Calvert of Albuquerque, N.M, made the wedding cake.
The three-tier, cream-colored cake featured a staircase lined with baby daisies leading to a heart-shaped cake bearing “Forever and a Day.”
A topaz fountain was under the three tiers of the cake.
The band “Crazy Horse” performed at the reception, and Mike Black of Brownstown was the photographer.
Attending the wedding and reception were family and friends from Wisconsin; Colorado; Panama City Beach, Fla., Wheaton and Albuquerque, N.M.
