South Central edges Eagles in OT contest on Tuesday

South Central outscored St. Elmo/Brownstown by 13 in the fourth quarter to force overtime, then won with a 12-7 scoring edge in overtime to win, 59-54, on Tuesday.
The Eagles were up 18-12 at halftime, then jumped out to a 35-22 lead after three quarters before the Cougars rallied in the fourth quarter, scoring 25 points to SEB’s 12.
South Central’s Logan Lotz led all scorers with 29 points, including 15 of 17 from the free-throw line, and Keenin Willshire added 11 for the Cougars.
Willshire had eight rebounds for the Cougars, and Roberts pulled down six.a
Andy Goldsborough led the Eagles with 19 points, and Jace McWhorter and Bryton Pruett were also in double figures with 13 and 10, respectively.
Goldsborough pulled down 13 rebounds, and Rosborough had 10.
