South Central defeats Brownstown

BROWNSTOWN – South Central won its fifth straight game in handing Brownstown a 15-3 loss last Thursday.
Senior Cole Armstrong was 4-for-5 for the Cougars, including a triple and two RBI.

Seniors Colby Bushue, senior Bret Pitts, Larry Schoreck and Luke Krajefska, and juniors Fischer Tharp and Drake Ritter each had two hits.

Bushue and Krajefska added two RBI each.

Sophomore Calvin Boggs led Brownstown's offense with a pair of doubles and two runs.

Senior Brady McDowell also doubled and junior Shane Sefton was 2-for-2.

The Cougars buried the Bombers early, scoring six times in the second and eight times in the third.

The first six Cougars reached base and scored in the third.
