• Jody L. Richards, 46, 922 W. Tower St., Vandalia, and Steven F. Stokes, 29, 1500 N. Sixth St., Vandalia, were arrested on charges of methamphetamine, meth precursor or anhydrous ammonia trafficking and possession of cannabis. Bond for each was $25,000.
• Jody E. Blackwell, 31, and Bo T. Blackwell, 21, both of 605 N. Rock Island Ave., Vandalia, were arrested on Feb. 17 on a charge of battery. Bond for each was $1,000.
• Codey B. Morris, 27, 720 W. Randolph St., Vandalia, was arrested on Feb. 17 on a charge of domestic battery. Bond was $5,000.
• James E. Conklin, 34, RR 1, St. Peter, was arrested on Feb. 16 on a charge of domestic battery. Bond was $3,000.
• Kimberly J. Cripe, no age listed, 1230 W. Gallatin St., Vandalia, and Deborah J. Cripe, 49, 2103 Dana Drive, Vandalia, were arrested on Feb. 16 on a charge of intimidation of a witness. Kimberly Cripe was released on a notice to appear in court, and bond for Deborah Cripe was $5,000.
• Matthew J. Veach, 27, RR 2, St. Elmo, was arrested on Feb. 16 on an alleged probation violation (Oklahoma warrant for a charge of child fondling). He was being held for Oklahoma authorities.
• Shaun B. Pryor, 34, 110 Southview, Vandalia, was arrested on Feb. 16 on charges of driving while his license is suspended or revoked, speeding, operation of an uninsured motor vehicle, failure to signal and failure to wear a seat belt. Bond was $1,500.
• Joseph G. Johnson, 44, 415 W. Eighth St., St. Elmo, was arrested on Feb. 16 on charges of resisting or obstructing a peace officer and disorderly conduct. Bond was $1,000.
• Zachary A. Willis, 19, 603 S. Sixth St., Vandalia, was arrested on Feb. 15 on charges of illegal transportation of alcohol, illegal consumption of alcohol and no taillight. Bond was $1,000.

• Zakkary C. Matzker, 19, 1409 W. Jefferson St., Vandalia, was arrested on Feb. 15 on a charge of illegal consumption of alcohol. Bond was $1,000.
• A 16-year-old youth turned himself in on Feb. 15 on a juvenile warrant for a charge of theft up to $500. The youth was released at the order of a judge.
• Hank W. Stout, 34, 1502 N. Eighth St., Apt. 7, Vandalia, was arrested on Feb. 14 on charges of criminal damage to property and disorderly conduct. Bond was $1,000.
• Quinby M. Hawthorne, 28, 407 S. Eighth St., Vandalia, was arrested on Feb. 14 on a charge of non-compliance with truancy. Bond was $700.
• A 17-year-old youth was arrested on a juvenile warrant for charges of domestic battery and illegal consumption. The youth was transferred to the Madison County Juvenile Detention Center.

• Austin W. Miley, 19, Shumway, turned himself in on a warrant for a charge of theft up to $500. Bond was $10,000.
• Gina M. Vollintine, 21, Shobonier, was arrested on Feb. 12 on a felony charge of filing a false police report. Bond was $10,000.
• Michael L. Brown, 37, 1230 W. Edwards St., Vandalia, was arrested on Feb. 12 for an alleged violation of an order of protection. Bond was $2,500.
