Lady Vandals drop pair of games

The Lady Vandals won the second and fourth quarters, but allowed Greenville too many points in the first and third periods of Tuesday’s 50-39 South Central Conference loss.

Freshman Emma Meyer led the Lady Vandals (5-17, 0-5 SCC) with nine points, and sophomore Makayla Tinker followed with eight and sophomore Madelyn Hosick had seven.

Maria Reinhard had 17 for Greenville (1-5, 6-1 SCC), and Kassidy Alderman added 12.

Vandalia trailed 18-8 after the first period, but got three of those points back in the second quarter.
