Henna promoted to chief lending officer at FNB

First National Bank announced recently that Steven C. Henna has been promoted to chief lending officer. He formerly served as vice president and senior lender.
Henna, a Vandalia resident, has more than 26 years of lending experience. He began his career with First National Bank in December 1998 as a vice president and loan officer, specializing in agriculture and commercial lending.
“Steve’s promotion to chief lending officer is well deserved,  given his years of lending experience and educational background,” said Ernie Chappel, president of First National Bank.
Henna graduated from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale with a bachelor’s degree in ag business. He also completed various educational programs, including the Midwest School of Community Bankers and the Graduate School of Banking in Madison, Wis.
Henna has been involved in several community activities, including the Economic Development Commission, president of Fayette County YMCA, president of Vandalia Lions Club, president of Vandalia Chamber of Commerce, treasurer of Fayette County Soil and Water Conservation District Board, treasurer of Vandalia Main Street and lifetime member of the National FFA Alumni Association.  
First National Bank has seven facilities in Vandalia, Ramsey, Patoka, Mulberry Grove and Greenville. Chartered in 1865, First National Bank has grown to more than $250 million in assets while serving area communities for 145 years.
