Wedding
On Saturday, Sept. 14, 2013, Mahala Harpster of Villa Ridge, Mo., and Nathan Jacquin of Washington, Mo., were married at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, St. Peter.
The bride is the daughter of Dane and Belinda Harpster of St. Peter, and the groom is the son of Dale and Donna Jacquin of Washington, Mo.
The bride chose Tami Pollock as her maid of honor, and the groom chose Spiker Helms as his best man. Approximately 300 people were in attendance. A dinner/dance reception was held at the Thelma Keller Convention Center in Effingham. After honeymooning in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, the couple will reside in Villa Ridge, Mo.
Weekend Visitors
Matt, Michelle, Tyson, Haley and Landon Urban of Ft. Wayne, Ind., spent the weekend with parents Larry & Sue Urban of St. Peter.  They were here to attend the Harpster-Jacquin wedding on Saturday.
Fish Fry
Larry and Sue Urban of St. Peter had the following guests on Sunday for a fish fry: Matt, Michelle, Tyson, Haley and Landon Urban; Kyle and Olivia Urban; John and Andria Cavaletto; Jeff and Kylie Tybrandt; and Dane and Belinda Harpster.
St. Peter Church
Attendance on Sunday was 203. Cameron Brandt served as acolyte. The organist was the Rev. Alan Holtz.
Elders were Charles Wachholz and Paul Reynolds.
