FNB Hometown Support Awards

The First National Bank held its annual Hometown Support event Tuesday morning, June 28, in the main office conference room, with representatives of 16 organizations based in Vandalia and Ramsey receiving donation checks from FNB President Mike Radliff. This is the first year the program was presented as a breakfast. Each group took a few minutes to talk about its mission and upcoming fundraisers. In almost every instance, stories were shared about the challenges facing not-for-profits in light of reduced money coming from state and federal agencies. The bank distributed $5,725 to those in attendance and to several organizations unable to attend. Radliff thanked the organizations for their hard work serving the people of Vandalia and Fayette County. He spotlighted the efforts of those working to improve the lives of local youth. He also acknowledged the example set by his predecessors who established the model for The First National Bank’s philanthropic leadership.
