Fifth-graders win tournament title
The Vandalia fifth-grade boys basketball team recently won the Vandalia Tournament, beating St. Elmo, 42-24, in the title game.
The team is pictured above. In the front row, from left, are: Keith Cearlock, Blake Barth, Blake Morrison, Caleb Slater and Brice Dunn. In the back are: Trevor Smalls, Dustin Lott and Jake Tedrick. Not pictured is Cole Forehand. Slater led the Jr. Vandals in scoring in the tourney, with 28 points.
