ExxonMobil Annuitants

The ExxonMobil Annuitants met on Dec. 15 at Ponderosa Steakhouse in Vandalia for their Christmas party and luncheon, with 24 members and three guests present.
President Dean Black welcomed everyone, followed by the pledge to the flag. Vera Miller gave the blessing for the meal.
After the meal, Black called the meeting to order.
The election of officers was held, with the current officers retained for the coming year: Dean Black, president; Mike Mulhern, vice president; and Elloise Black, secretary-treasurer.
Dean Black announced that the club voted at the November meeting not to have a meeting in January or February due to the cold weather and some members going south for the winter.
The next meeting will be at Maverick Steakhouse in Litchfield on March 30. Laura Mulhern made favors for everyone, Christmas ornaments filled with M&Ms.
After the meeting, those present played bingo, and after Bingo, they had a cookie exchange. There was a large variety of cookies and all the members enjoyed taking a plate of cookies home with them.
Dean Black ended the meeting by wishing everyone a merry and blessed Christmas.
Members present were Dean and Elloise Black, D.R. and Pat Caldwell, Dallas and Jo Fairley, Frank and Carolyn Heigert, Carolyn Johnson, Ron and Janice Klotz, LaVern Laux, Cy and Lorene Locke, Dick and Barb Lounsbury, Dorothy Meier, Vera Miller, Mike and Laura Mulhern, Martha Shelton, Jim Sprayberry, and Junior and Betty Williams.
