Cougars win NTC Tournament

South Central won its first-ever National Trail Conference Tournament championship on Saturday, defeating St. Anthony, 3-2.

Kyle Bray, Noah Powless and Brett Harmeier each had an RBI during a three-run first inning, while St. Anthony added single runs in the top of the first and six innings.

Both teams had eight hits in the game, with Bray and Dylan Smith having two for South Central (12-4).

Tyler Ross picked up his sixth win of the fall, striking out eight in a complete-game effort.
