Fusion 3D youth event is this weekend

Family Worship Center in Vandalia will hold a youth conference called Fusion 3D this Friday and Saturday at the church.
The event – which includes music, dramas, food and prizes – will be held at 7 p.m. Friday night and from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. For information, call 977-8485.

Master Plan sings Saturday at Columbus

The singing group Master Plan will perform at Columbus Baptist Church in Keyesport at 6 p.m. this Saturday.
The concert will be preceded by a potluck dinner at 5 p.m.

Holy cross to host speaker on creation

Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Vandalia will be hosting a speaker on the topic of "Creation and the Bible" on Sunday, Nov. 4.
Shane Cessna will speak at 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. at the church, which is located at 726 W. Fillmore St.

Community prayer service is Sunday

The first community-wide prayer service, sponsored by the Vandalia Ministerial Alliance, will be held this Sunday at 6 p.m. at First Church of God.
The church is located at 3001 Thrill Hill Road.
 
Pre-election prayer service planned

Northside Christian Church will hold a community "hour of prayer" Monday evening, Nov. 5, to pray for the elections the following day. The service is open to anyone who wants to participate.
The church is located at 1845 W. Jackson St.

Allen Frizzell to perform at The Barn

Country gospel artist Allen Frizzell will perform a free concert this Friday at 7 p.m. at The Barn in rural Pana.
The Barn is located 2 miles off of Ill. Route 16 between Pana and Tower Hill. For information, call 217-562-3526.
