? "Liberty Road Band" will be performing from 6:30-9:30 p.m. at the Patoka Civic Center. Admission is $5. A potluck will be held.
Saturday, February 9

? The National Road Association Interpretive Center, located at 106 S. Fifth St. in Vandalia, will hold its fourth birthday party from 3-5 p.m., with Molly Bellamy of Marshall giving a program at 4 p.m. Refreshments will be served. Children's activities will be available from 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
? The third annual Lincoln Victory Ball will be held from 7-11 p.m. at the Vandalia Moose Lodge, with doors opening at 6 p.m. Admission is $5 per person, but those dressed in period clothing will be admitted free of charge. ? The Shoal Creek Chapter of ABATE will hold a chili cook-off from 1-5 p.m. at the Greenville VFW Home. Registration is from 1-2 p.m., judging is from 2-3 p.m., and awards will be presented at 4 p.m. The entry fee is $5, and there are three classes: mild, medium and hot. The fundraiser will also include an in-house benefit run, live auction, attendance drawing and door prizes. The event will benefit the chapter's food and toy run. ? The Network Masters chapter of Business Networking International, which includes Vandalia, meets every Tuesday morning in the conference room at 3 Point Ink, 1550 U.S. Route 40 in Greenville.
