Saturday, October 5

? The Golden Years Club in Brownstown will hold a pancake and sausage breakfast from 7-11 a.m. at the Golden Years Building, First and Division streets. There is no charge, but donations will be accepted.
? The Vandalia Community High School maching band will host the second annual Marching Vandals Invitational. It includes a parade competition that gets under way at 11 a.m. and a field competition that begins at 1 p.m. Twelve area bands will compete.
? The Greenville Pilots Association will host its annual "Airstravaganza at Greenville Airport, three miles south of Greenville on Ill. Route 127, from 8 a.m.-5 p.m.. It will include aircraft displays and demonstrations, as well as airplane and helicopter rides.
? Happy Hollow Farms in rural St. Elmo will hold its Fall Festival. It will include food and craft vendors, and the FourGiven Quartet will perform from 2-4 p.m. A Cutest Kids Contest is being held, with proceeds going to Kinley Walker. Happy Hollow Farms is located on County Road 2250, two miles south of Brewbaker Road.
? The third annual fuNFest, held annually to benefit the St. Louis Children's Hospital Foundation, will be held on Saturday at Gatch Lake, north of the Shobonier blacktop.

? Happy Hollow Farms in rural St. Elmo will hold its Fall Festival. Diekemper Photography will take fall photos from 12:30-3:30 p.m.
Monday, October 7

? The Vandalia Women of the Moose will meet at 6:30 p.m. at the Vandalia Moose Lodge.
? The Vandalia City Council will meet at 7:30 p.m. at city hall.
Tuesday, October 8
? The Network Masters chapter of Business Networking International, which includes Vandalia, meets every Tuesday morning at the Free Methodist Church, 1367 E. State Road 140, Greenville. The meeting is from 8:15-9:45 a.m. For more information, contact chapter President Greg Tomlinson at 292-2267.
