? Brownstown Elementary School will hold its annual SCC carnival and pancake supper. A meal will be served from 5-7 p.m., with the cost being $5 per person. Carnival games will run from 6-8 p.m., and wrist bands for unlimited play will be $10. "Bubbles, the Clown" will be present, and Hosick Motors – in conjunction with Chrysler – will hold a drive and ride fundraiser. For every test drive, $10 will be donated to the school. The night will also include a raffle featuring donations from local businesses, with tickets being 25 cents each.

? The Vandalia Rotary Club meets at noon at Ponderosa Steakhouse.
? Evans Public Library in Vandalia will hold a story time at 4 p.m. Children of all ages are invited to attend.
? The Vandalia Board of Education will hold its regular March meeting at 5 p.m. in the district's administration center.
? TOPS IL 2020 will meet in the Fayette County Hospital conference room. Weigh-in is from 5-5:30 p.m., with the meeting to follow.
? A Weight Watchers meeting will be held at 5:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Vandalia; weigh-in is at 5 p.m. Visitors are welcome to attend the meeting free of charge.

? The 20th annual antique tractor show at Village Square Mall will be held Thursday through Sunday. The mall is located on Ill. Route 45 south of Effingham. It is sponsored by the Old National Trail and East Central Illinois Two-Cylinder clubs and the County Line Sod Busters. Those interested in displaying tractors or getting more information may call 483-6241, 217-536-6315 or 673-2346.
? "A Night of Music-The Sequel," will be presented in the Vandalia Community High School gym. Doors open at 5 p.m., and the concert begins at 7 p.m. Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for children ages 13-18, with children 12 and under admitted free. The concert will include performances by the fifth-, sixth-, seventh- and eighth-grade bands, and the VCHS band. It will also feature Gracia Harrison, who performed on "The Voice" in its third season. The night will include a silent auction and discounted St. Louis Cardinals tickets. Meals and concessions will be available.
