? "Ask the Experts" is at 7 p.m. at Eighth Day Event Center on Veterans Avenue. The free event includes presentations by insurance agent Kirk Doehring, Illinois State Police officer Ron Morecraft, attorney David Oldfield, funeral director Sue Holliday and the Rev. Robert Weaver.

Friday, February 7

? Bingo at the American Legion Home at 7 p.m.
? A Nar-Anon meeting will be held at 7 p.m. at Northside Christian Church, 1845 W. Jackson St., Vandalia.
? St. Elmo Educational Foundation annual soup supper will be held from 5-7 p.m. in the high school cafeteria. All proceeds go toward St. Elmo High School seniors.
? The Vandalia Moose Lodge will hold a chili supper from 5:30-7 p.m. The menu includes chili with peanut butter sandwich or hot dog, apple sauce and desert. The cost is $6. It is open to the public, and carry-outs will be available.
? The Vandalia High School Alumni & Friends Pep Band will perform with the high school band for the varsity basketball game.

Saturday, February 8

? The National Road Interpretive Center at 106 S. Fifth St. in Vandalia is holding its 11th birthday party from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. It will include a Seek and Find game for children, with prizes for participants.
? The Vandalia Statehouse will host its annual Lincoln's Birthday program from 2-4 p.m. Mary Lincoln presenter Pam Brown will present the program "Taking Leave," and Mike Anderson, "The Dulcimer Guy," will perform music. Refreshements will be served.
? The Johnny Hunt Men's Conference is being held at Bethel Baptist Church on Ill. Route 185, about seven miles northwest of Vandalia.

Sunday, February 9

? The Men of St. Peter's Lutheran Church will hold their annual sausage supper with a full menu in the school gym, with serving to begin at 5 p.m. Carry-outs will be available.

Monday, February 10

? The Grief Share support group meets at 6 p.m. at Farina United Methodist Church, 311 Jackson St., Farina.

Tuesday, February 11

? The Vandalia Rotary Club meets at noon at Ponderosa Steakhouse.
? The Fayette County Board meets at 7 p.m. in the large courtroom at the Fayette County Courthouse, 221 S. Seventh St., Vandalia.
? The Evans Public Library District Board of Trustees meets at 7:30 p.m. at the library.
