St. Elmo/Brownstown senior Levi Maxey scored his 1,000th career point as the Eagles defeated Windsor, 70-63, in the consolation semifinals of the NTC Tournament.

SEB plays for fifth place on Saturday. That game will follow South Central/Cowden-Herrick, which begins at 11:30 a.m. at Altamont High School.

In Vandalia, the eighth-grade boys won the 26th annual Vandalia Tournament, with a 47-39 win against Pana. Marcus Zimmerman was named MVP of the event.
