Anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Dunaway of New Palestine, Ind., formerly of Vandalia, celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Feb. 3.

Charles and Ann were married on Feb. 3, 1952, at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Vandalia. The couple moved to New Palestine in 1964.
Chuck worked for General Mold in tool and die operations, and Ann worked for the Folkining Agency.
Chuck later started Port-A-Kleen of Indiana, operating that business for several years. After he sold that business, he and Ann started the Dunaway Insurance Agency
They are the parents of five children: Debra Allena, Mark Dunaway, Cindy Edwards, Andy Dunaway and Mike Dunaway (deceased).
The couple celebrated their anniversary with a dinner at Bluebird Restaurant in Morristown, Ind., on Friday, Jan. 27. Daughters Deb and Cindy arranged the dinner, which was attended by a number of family members and friends.
They also celebrated with a two-week cruise in the Caribbean with son Andy and his wife Arlie. They were joined in the second week by Augsburg area residents Bob and Janet Williams, and Carolyn Sasse.
