Vandalia man dies in three-vehicle wreck in Ohio

A Vandalia man was killed in a multi-vehicle crash in Ohio on Saturday, March 18.

Reno Keith Jr, 41, was working with Landracorp Inc., a crew based out of Brownstown, that were tasked with clearing brush along Ohio State Route 3 in Holmes County near Wooster. Wooster is located about 60 miles southwest of Cleveland.

He was reportedly working with two other employees who were each driving a pickup truck and a skid steer respectively, and all three were en route from one work site to another, according to WJBD Radio.

According to the Ohio Highway patrol, reports indicate that the wreck occurred when a pickup truck came upon a utility vehicle that Keith was operating and pushed the UTV into another pickup truck that was traveling with it.

Keith was reportedly taken to Wooster Community Hospital in Wooster, OH, where he later died from injuries sustained in the crash. Ohio police say the seat belts for the UTV were buckled behind the driver at the time of the wreck.

The driver of the truck that struck the UTV was identified as a 30-year-old resident of Loudonville, OH. No other injuries were reported.
