Whitehead named Vandalia Lions Club Teacher of the Month

Danielle Whitehead has been selected as the Vandalia Lions Club Teacher of the Month. Whitehead is in her 16th year teaching. She graduated from VHS in 1996 and has always lived in the area. She enjoys cheering on the Vandals, crafting, soap-making, being outdoors and spending time with family.

Whitehead said her favorite part about teaching is “forming connections and seeing my students succeed.” She said her students often teach her that “There’s always a reason to smile and to celebrate small victories.”
