79th Annual Vandalia Lion’s Club Halloween Parade celebrates the spooky season

Last Thursday night, Gallatin Street belonged to the ghosts, goblins and skeletons as a scary array of Halloween floats, figures and other participants marched during the 79th Annual Vandalia Lions Club Halloween Parade.

Triple A Tumbling’s No Bones About It featured larger-than-life skeletons and won the top prize — Ponderosa Steakhouse Award — in the float category.

The first place for the walking group went to the TuTu Squad of 618 Day Spa.

An awards ceremony was held at Quality Inn in Vandalia, where awards were presented. Check out the list of winners below and see the gallery for the winners. For more photos from the parade, click here.
