Faith E. Wallace-Porter, 30, of Vandalia, passed away Thursday, Sept. 2, 2021, at her home in Vandalia.
Private graveside services for family and friends will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, Sept. 10, 2021, at Pilcher Cemetery, rural Brownstown, with Pastor Wes Bell officiating. Friends and family may gather at the cemetery at 10 a.m. on Friday. Memorials may be made to the Faith Wallace-Porter Children’s Fund. Miller Funeral Home, Vandalia, is in charge of arrangements. She was born September 6, 1990, in Breese, the daughter of Steven Allen and Fawn Marie (Ritchey) Wallace Scribner. She was a homemaker and affiliated with 4-Mile Church, rural Brownstown.
She is survived by her mother, Fawn Scribner, Vandalia; son, Maxwell Porter, Vandalia; daughter, Iris Porter, Vandalia; step-sons, Mason and Landon Porter, Decatur; brothers – William Scribner, Vandalia, and Spencer Wallace and Maranda, Greenup; sister, Millie Scribner, Vandalia; two half brothers, Coe Hill and Izzy Hill, both of Vandalia.; grandmother, Virginia Rigdon, Vandalia; paternal grandparents, David Wallace and Sharon, Windsor; uncles and aunts, Shawn Ritchey and Billye Jo, Vandalia, Stephanie Ireland and Jeff, Shobonier, Derek Rigdon and Cheryl and Daron Rigdon and Mel, all of Sefton, Randy Wallace and Gina, Windsor; and many nephews and nieces.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Gary; and her father.
