Breaking the tie for Bingham village president

Bingham Village President Clifford Snider draws a number from the box in order to break a tie in the election for his office, from the election held Tuesday, April 6. His opponent in that election, a write-in candidate, Leroy B. Longwell, center, examines his slip. Both received 9 votes in the election. It was decided that the two would draw from slips of paper, numbered from 1 to 10, with the candidate pulling the lowest number being declared the winner. Snider drew a #3, while Longwell pulled a #1.
