Sue C. Wicke, 86, of Vandalia

Sue C. Wicke, 86, of Vandalia, passed away Sunday, March 21, 2021, at Fayette County Hospital LTC, Vandalia.

Services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, March 25, at Unity Baptist Church, Vandalia, with Pastor Robert Weaver, officiating. Burial will follow at Fairlawn Cemetery, Vandalia. Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m., Thursday, March 25, one hour prior to the service at the church. Memorials: Unity Baptist Church, Vandalia. She was born February 7, 1935, in Vandalia, the daughter of Virgil Allan and Mildred Violet (Durbin) Pryor. She married Wayne L. Wicke on November 4, 1956, in Vandalia, he passed away August 23, 2011. She was a retired assistant daycare center worker and homemaker; member of Unity Baptist Church, Vandalia. Sue was an avid pianist and soloist, she loved music and would sing at weddings, funerals and family events.

She is survived by a brother, Brad Pryor and Linda, Vandalia; sister-in-law, Doris Courson, Saint Peter, and several nephews and nieces.
