Daniel L. “Dan” England, 73, of Vandalia, passed away Saturday, March 6, 2021, in Vandalia at his home.
Private services and burial will be held Wednesday, March 10, 2021, at Bethlehem Cemetery with Pastor Joe Lawson and Peter Kates officiating. Memorials may be made to Baptist Children’s Home, Carmi. He was born December 10, 1947, in Vandalia, the son of Lee E. and Mildred I. (Vaughn) England. He married Chrystle R. Manion on October 4, 1970. He was a construction contractor and was retired from R.P. Lumber Co. He was a member of Hagarstown Baptist Church and VCHS Class of 1966.
He is survived by his wife, Chrystle R. England, Vandalia; daughters, Christy England, Tallahassee, FL and Sharon Kates, Minier; sisters, Emma Brashear and Charles, Normal, and Betty Mehlenbeck, Normal, and three grandchildren – Daniel, John and Miranda.
Dan was preceded in death by his parents.
