Final Farmers’ Market Saturday

The final Farmers’ Market of the season in downtown Vandalia is this Saturday morning.
The Farmers’ Market runs from 8 a.m.-noon in front of Charters Patio in the 100 block of South Fourth Street.
Amber Daulbaugh, Vandalia’s director of economic development, said on Tuesday that this week’s market will include two new vendors.
Vandalia’s Little Community Garden will offer fresh fruits, vegetables and plants.
Makayla Cook, a Fayette County CEO student, will offer a variety of air fresheners in the shapes of dog bones, cow heads and pumpkins.
Daulbaugh said that people who wish to purchase a volume of produce are encouraged to contact the appropriate vendor in advance to pre-order.
