? The final Farmers' Market of the year is being held from 8 a.m.-noon in front of Charters Patio in the 100 block of South Fourth Street in Vandalia.
? The Fayette County Democratic Central Committee will be in the parking lot of the former Kroger to hand out candidate signs from 9-11 a.m.
? The final Charters Patio concert of the season is from 6-9 p.m., with a performance by Dakota Danielle.

Sunday, October 11

? "Lord, Heal Our Land," a patriotic rally is being held at 6 p.m. in the north parking lot of the Mulberry Grove Community Park Building. It will feature Dr. Cecil Todd, founder and president of Revival Fires Ministry, and popular gospel recording artist Tammy Reneé Harris. Those attending are to take lawn chairs. It is sponsored by the Mulberry Grove Ministerial Alliance.

Saturday, October 17

WJLY Radio in Ramsey is holding its annual fall festival from 11:30 a.m.-3 p.m. The event incldues crafters and old-fashion demonstrators, kids' activities and a bounce house, pony rides, hayrides through the woods, children's tattoos, ciders and apples, pumpkins and gourds, free family and friends photos, petting zoo and kid kart rides. A Fourgiven concert is at 12:30 p.m.
